Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Chloris app ("Chloris", "we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using the app

Chloris helps you organize your plants, track watering, and run plant scans and health diagnoses. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you care for your plants.

Plant diagnosis is guidance, not a guarantee

Plant scans, identifications, and health diagnoses are provided for general guidance only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not a substitute for professional horticultural, agricultural, or veterinary advice. Do not rely on Chloris to determine whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or keep around people or animals. Always use your own judgment.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You can delete your account at any time from within the app; deletion removes your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions & free trial

• Chloris offers an optional paid subscription ("Chloris Premium"), which may include a free trial period.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase or when a free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and plant information you add to Chloris. You grant us permission to store and process that content solely to provide the app's features to you (for example, showing plant covers and running diagnosis). You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to upload it.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Chloris for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.

Disclaimers

Chloris is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that diagnosis results will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Chloris and its providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss or harm to plants, arising from your use of the app.

Apple Standard EULA

If you download Chloris from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies to your use of the app. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA conflict, the Apple Standard EULA governs to the extent of that conflict. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
